1. My experience 

Because of my experience  

• I am seeing the same results in my other children. My 3rd child is 12 years and ahead in his academics. My 4th child is school age and is already ahead in his academics. My 5th and 6th children are still not school age yet but they are showing great academic potential. 
• My 2nd child gives me more confirmation. I taught him some things as a baby but due to a challenging family circumstance I failed to teach him some key things until he reached school age. He is now 13 and is excelling in some areas of his academics and is struggling in other areas. Guess what? He is struggling in the areas that I failed to teach him as a baby. 
• I have seen the same results with family members and friends who taught their children as babies.   A few years ago, a friend came over to my house and saw me teaching my 4th child then almost  2 years old and was amazed at what he was able to do academically at 2 years old. I told her that all babies can be taught in this way. She went home and started teaching her baby, often calling me for help and guidance. Her child is now in school and the recent report that we heard is that she is excelling in her academics and performing at a level way above other children. Of course, I was not surprised to hear it

I also know it’s true because of what I have learnt about a child’s brain development from birth until 5 years old.  

Health Nexus a health promotion organisation funded by the government of Ontario Canada state the following about early child education and future academic success: 

• ““Early child development sets the foundation for lifelong learning, behavior, and health. The experiences children have in early childhood shape the brain and the child’s capacity to learn, to get along with others, and to respond to daily stresses and challenges.”

A committee set up to set up to study early childhood approved by the Governing Board of the USA National Research Council, noted:

• “Academic skills at school entry can, in turn, be traced to capabilities seen during the preschool years and the experiences in and out of the home that foster their development. Children’s cognitive skills before they enter kindergarten show strong associations with achievement in elementary and high school.”
